- Gangotri Temple
Gangotri Temple sits gracefully on the banks of the River Bhagirathi. This temple is roosted at a height of 3200 m above sea level and is committed to the River Goddess Ganga. This is the most noteworthy and one of the most noticeable sanctuaries of the Goddess Ganga in the nation. It stays close amid winters due to overwhelming snowfall. A visit to this temple is not only soul stirring but also provides some visual delight to the eyes.
- Submerged Shivling
The Shivling which is submerged in the river is a wonderful sight which strengthens the force of the heavenly God. Mythology has it that Lord Shiva sat at this spot to get Ganga in his locks. - Dodital
Dodital is a freshwater lake, encompassed by rich greenery. The lake is renowned for the Himalayan trout and can be reached by trekking from Uttarkashi. The Bhagirathi river is viewed as the genuine wellspring of the river Ganga. The range is quiet and dreamlike, and offers gorgeous views of Mt. Shivling and the Bhagirathi gathering of mountains. You would need to take an 18 km long trek from Gangotri to reach this spot. It is the highlight of the Gangotri Tourism and will actually leave you mesmerized.
